Question about Radar Detectors. Should I buy one?

I have been thinking about purchasing a V1 lately. My main concern is that something new and better may come out soon or that a new form of speed detection will be implemented.

Should I go ahead and purchase or is something else coming out that will suprass the V1?

there was someone saying something about a v2??? but anyways i bought the v1 about a month ago, its great!

You know for a "Balla" your sure have skills as a "PhotoShop 7 artist" lol. Lets see do you speed alot? Where do you live? And their will always be something newer and better you just have to get the best at the moment or wait. I would go with the V1 or praise the Karma Gods like i do. Shit I speed all the time in south texas *no KNOCK on wood* and I have never gotten a ticket with any of my 3 cars since 1999. You could also buy one of those real cheap *right* jammers that will completly eliminate getting caught for the most part.

get a V1. if a new one comes out, you can send it back in for the latest one (i think according to the v1 website)

when a new v1 version comes out, u can send it back and they upgrade it for a small fee. ya dont have to worry about another 400$ dectector to buy.

i have what i think to still be the latest (ver. 1.8)

now everyone hug your v1 and say "thanks, buddy".

It gives detects 4 types of bands, including laser.

i was told in another thread a band called KaII is coming out or is already being used. Any info on this?
