Yeah, I don't think online petitions do anything, I'm pretty sure they need written signatures, and even with a million signatures I doubt it would happen.

Well, if the average American driver was as good as the average German driver, I would vote yes- but that is not true. I think there would be way too many crashes if we had an autobahn, unless we made our licensing test tougher (as the German's test is, hence their average drivers being better than our's).

i find about 75% of the people do not know how to drive.. its so bad!!! i signed it, however it will never happen in america (well 99% not likely, there always is a chance if someone cool comes into a high position) because the people here suck at driving..

Actually, one of those Petitions did work (I guess). The MINI owners wanted the rear fog light available, a bunch of people signed the petition, and MINI made it available to the states.

german cars are built to handle autoban speeds, think about how a VW Golf or Jetta handles at 100+, pretty well for a small car, no shaking, everythings stabel, but could you imaing a road full of neons and cavilers going 100+, scary.

j/k i hate neons, but i like my srt4 (i consider it a neon though, who cares-- )

but the thing is.. people here like to stay in the fast lane (which you have no choice, so many cars (if you drive good) (the f'ers who drive 55 in the fast lane are what i am refering to)), in germany its used soley for passing. thats how it would have to be- but i bet most idiots here wouldnt figure it out
