cks durring the end of the month??

is there a criteria in which they must meet at the end of each month..such as pulling people over and stuff

what is there criteria?

quotas do exist.. atleast in NJ state police they do

in redwood city, the cops were told to give out a certain # of tickets..

every cop in my city has to get atleast 20 tickets, traffic cops have more to give...

They got quotas in Idaho too..... Believe me, I get nailed in my truck all the time, not real sure there is anything really legal about it anymore...astetically anyway... But I do have friends that are cops and they had told me straight out they have quotas... a percentage of the ticket money pays for the judges retirement....

They have quotas here. it's not too bad in the beginning of the month, but at the end it's speed trap city

yep end of the month all the procrastinating cops pull over everyone in site. my only ticket was for 40 in a 30 (on new license probation) on june 30th.

i always thought their was a law against having quotas, it makes sense their would be. for instance in florida their was a cop who was on the force for over 15 years and never issued a signal ticket, only warnings. The city wanted to fire him but they couldnt just because he wasnt writing tickets because nowhere does it say u have to.

City Govt will always deny quotas...but here in NYC..when when three different cops give you a ticket or a summons and all three say "Blame bloomberg" you start to wonder.
