Hey whats the best nag for my buck Uniden hand-held police scanner i can get... i want one for street racing....how much wouldi be looking to spend? does it work in te whole US? what else do i need other then just the scanner? hard to use? thanks

radioshack. 150 for a handheld one. they work really good. here in minnesota, guy at the races has one, gives fair warning too. we have a good 5-10 minutes to get out of there, so the spot is empty when the cops get there. you have to find the right frequency though. i know www.scanfan.com has all the MN frequencies, maybe theres links off there to wherevevr you live? im thinking about getting one over the winter for next spring.
