personally I have 105k on mine and its a 2000...nothing major has gone wrong with it and it was chipped from 45k to 98k and it still pulls hard....
Now as for the new ones..Just to let you know audi are a hit or miss car.. if you buy one new then buy the extended warranty becuase when you sell it youll get more money...trustme.
If buying used then make sure they ALL the records and make sure there is nothing major has been replaced unless it was a recall.
If the car has had something major go wrong with it then most likely it will keep happening.
My freind has a 02 and with 21k on it he has replaced these items that i can think of:
Turbo went at 7k
Both cats went due to the turbo
windshield wiper motor went
coil pack..i think two went
alot more i cant think of, but they where all replaced under warranty but .....audi has a lemon law that i think if your car is in for major repairs and they add up to 20 days then they are supposed to work with you to a new car but it doesnt work out to good in your favor.. My buddy should have a new car right now but with the mileage and what they will give him hes just trying to ge the extended warranty for free and keep the current car.
Anyways hoep this helps ya
Good Luck..
I will say that audi makes a very nice car though...but I want a M3
