Oh and the M6 supposed 550hp V10...from what I've heard. I don't know much else...if I said I did I'd be talking out of my ass.

The new 6 will be out spring of 2004. Convertible to follow shortly thereafter.

The M6 should have the same engine as the new M5 which is reportedly a 5.5L V10 and pushing 500 HP and 500 lb.ft.

Extrapolating data from current BMW engines and knowing the redline of the E60 M5(8300)......500hp would be very underrated. That torque figure seems HIGHLY unlikey. I'd guess 440-450 ft*lbs because of the current 81 ft*lbs per liter of the E46 M3(I'm assuming relatively similar torque generation per cylinder).

the M5 CSL will have 550HP but i havent heard anything about a M6 CSL

The M6 is said to be coming about a year after the normal 6er, so spring 2005. We have a deposit on one, so ill let you guys know if we learn anything else

Uh, sorry chap. No "CSL" there. C, as in "Coupe" doesn't fit with the M5 class. And as for the M6, no dice. Only the M3 is slated to be a test bed for lightweight components and alternate performance parts.
