| HEY GUYS NEED SOME ADVICE.. WHEN I DRIVE MY 325IS (92) HARD AND PUSH THE RED LINE AND SHIFT TO THIRD GEAR IT GRINDS REAL HARD... BUT WHEN I SHIFT SLOWLY AT AROUND 2500-3500RPM IT SHIFTS JUST FINE WHAT THE HELL HELP ????

| I had that same thing with my transmission with only around 40K on my engine. I really happened when I was downshifting from 4th to 3rd. This happened especially on cold mornings at the start of the day's driving. I replaced the transmission fluid with redline MTF and I never heard the grinding again. You might want to try that.
