this might of been covered before...Coilovers?

Hey guys i'm not sure if this has been covered before but i gotta ask b/c i just need to know for sure. I have a e36 M3 sedan and i'm getting bbs ch 18x8.5 225/40/18 all around and i was planning on getting the Pss9 coil over system but now i read that its not recommended for anything larger than 7.5 wide?? I could of sworn i've seen people running these with larger diameters than that. Unless maybe there is a better suspension out there that you guys would say is better than the pss9 then i might just go that way. Any help would be great thanks.

bilsteins pss and pss9 are not designed for the m3, you will need 3 series endlinks and a 325/328 front sway bar to even out the handling. When you use the 3 series sway bar endlinks it lessens the effectiveness of the front sway vs. where an M3 mounts to the strut. So to compensate you will need a thicker front swaybar. You will also need a spacer for the front wheels.

eww that deffinetley scares me forget about getting The pss9 system now...What would you reccomend?

H&R, KW, and Ground Control all have coilover systems as well.

It depends on what you want to do, track or street? or both? For street use you really can't beat the H&R's, i don't like KW/FK because you have to use a spacer in front. If you plan on tracking the its Ground Control all the way, they will custom tailor a setup to your needs.
