s50 m3 motor in 87 325e

I was recomended to you guys about this. How many of you did this conversion and were successful? How many unsuccessful? I'm really thinking about doing this but need a heads up on it. How much will it run me for the motor, tranny (if needed) and all the parts necessary. I will do the labor myself. Any advice is appreciated! Thanks!

I saw a turbo s50 swap at Bimmerfest East in a Blue E30M3 widebody.
