I wouldn't do it unless you need a clutch, which i seriously hope not on an 03 m3.

I did mine and have added about 1500 km since. Great feel, I got the 10lbs MPD flywheel. Costed me about $1100cnd for the part with labour from my local BMW dealer.

The ONLY downside which they will never tell you, is that you hear ALOT of chatter. It drives me nuts. On ly chatters when you have the clutch disengaged though, if you have the clutch pressed in, you don't hear it.

10lbs is ALOT lighter than the stock 30lbs, so if you don't mind the chatter - get it. If you will get annoyed, don't bother. Do pullies instead. That's one of my next modifications.

Fred...to reduce flywheel chatter, try using Redline MT90 tranny fluid...worked for me
