What ever came of the transmission issue?

How about 2EXOTIK .... maybe reference both the driver and the car... but ULTM8M3 was my vote...

I did the Custom plate, and now I am bummed..

I guess depending on how you drive among other things.. I really don't want people to be able to remember my plate too easily.. get some little old lady called PD from her cell phone..

"Ah officer.. this guy is driving too fast, he just went by me at 130mph... and his licence plate was ________!" Anyway.. Good luck. I am going to DMV and going back to stock.

Well.. i picked 2xpensv as one of the ideas because of the fact that to date, i've pissed away about an easy $40k-50k in aftermarket and modification crap. some of you might be saying "in what!??!"... well, my whole driveline came out to roughly $11k, Dinan parts roughly $10k, interior and carbon fiber parts roughly $4k-5k... not to mention the $7k full body repaint, oem ltw wing & splitters, 2 12" strokers, mb Q's, zapco amps, clarion head, & bbs wheels. indeed, this m3 has become 2xpensv.

as for the 6speed trans, labor is going on all this week,.. the car should be ready by Friday if all goes well...

... oh, and 1 more thing... i got a custom sparco interior.. front & rear.

all my more recent pics were lost when my harddrive crashed a while back.. i only have really old pics.

i haven't decided what to do with the hood & mirrors. so far, i've just left them as the carbon black, but ive thought of glazing them silver or trying to find them in silver carbon. no luck though in finding a shop that does good glazing or finding the silver carbon yet though.

I have always had mixed feelings about easy-to-remeber plates (ala M POWER). A good friend of mine's plate is B8BS5S, and I must admit- I like it a lot, it is very stealth.

And about the CF, have you thought about clearcoating the parts Titanium Silver?

apparently too stealthy. What does it mean?

Nevermind I got it. If it's called in by somebody they'll assume it says BBBSSS when in reality it says B8BS5S... so they will be SOL in catching him. Sorry for wasting thread space.
