Exclamation BMW goes to Alpina (again) for Sport version of Z4 - Specs/Pic!

Check this out!

Granted, Alpina didn't get a lot of HP out of an engine that large, but it has a LOT of torque (PLEASE don't let it be a manual, alpina designed the new Z8 engine with a lot of torque so they could use a manual.. so..)

I've heard 3.3L (from BMW2002) and 3.4L (from a translated German site.)
300 hp, 362 Newtonmeters of torque.

It will be rolling on the same 19s that the Alpina Z8 Roadster sports (which I don't like..) and is to be known as the Alpina Roadster S.

Already with the roadster Alpina success had V8, which was based on the BMW Z8. That was built 555-mal and also sold. From the roadster S Alpina wants to produce substantially more units.

The roadster S should not only be more luxurioeser adult and than the original, it adds also some at vortriebskraft. As heart a row six cylinder with 3,4 litres strikes capacity and 300 HP. Its maximum torque of 362 Newtonmeters lies close when 4.800 revolutions.

Up to 270 km/h point
From the road performances the roadster S is given first schooling to into the m-class of BMW: 5.3 seconds on one hundred and 265 km/h point, with Hardtop 270 km/h belong to orders of magnitude, which energize salivation.

Accordingly the chassis and the brakes were adapted. The roadster S rolls like the V8 on 19-Zoll-Raedern in the dynamic Design. Without Runflat tires in favor of the travelling comfort one did.

IMO, bmw should have alpina make their sporty versions of each series, and reserve the ///Motorsport name for the ultra badass version of certain series. imagine if all the ///M cars where like the CSL, more power + lightweight + race bred

Yeah but.. if that were the case, they would be out of reach for around 90% of us DTMers..

It's kinda like that, only the other way around.. only alpinas aren't even that badass.

I bet I could run dead even with one, and I'd put their price tag around 3 times as much as my car was when I got it (21k) so..

I'd really like to sell mine when I get out of college, for an M version of a BMW roadster. I'd rather have a pure M though, and now that won't happen. Sure I could get an M roadster but they are a little dated looking now (a roadster's looks should be meaner than hell in my opinion) and I really want to experience that new car small.

Anyways, maybe I can make an Alpina Roadster S work out - estoril blue. I'd get bi-xenons.. put my 6000k catz in the fogs, sell the alpina 19s and get some hot forged 5 spoke HREs, slam it, throw in a lightweight audiobahn sub.
Dayum.. I'm saving up now!!!!

heeeere we go.. I couldn't get the estoril right because there's really no way to add a metallic look to a pic in PS (that I know of at least.. I'm sure there is.)

This is kidnda rough, I know.. with a real estoril it would be so hot.


HIDs (I'll use my catz for the fogs).. exhaust (it better be quad).. a system.. a little lower, and those HRE 445s (maybe 20s?)
BLING!

Oh, I also couldn't stand that orange turn signal on the headlights.. so I just made it smoked.
