| tire sizes
does anybody know about what tire size i can run on a 318ti? i have a set of 17X8 (w/35mm offset) mila miglia sports and am running 215/45 17 kumhos on them now(tireracks reccomendation). the rim is wider than the width of the tire and i like the choices i get from 225/45s. tirerack said i would rub in the back with 225/45 but i know that 225/55 16s work on TIs. i wanted the wider tire to protect my rims a little and a little softer ride. this is just my summer tire setup so performance isn't my main concern, im going to run my stock 15s with 205/50s for the track. thanks, mark |
