| I do like the RS2's and they look amazing on the E46's, I am just wondering how they will look on an E36. If you go to the Racing Dynamics Web Site in the International part there is a pic of an E36 with RS2's. Check out this link http://www.racingdynamics.com/Locali..._E36_Intro.htm

| The RS2's now have a reverse drop lip kinda like the HRE R series with a flap lip. I am so torn. HRE's are such beautiful wheels and the craftsmanship is unbelievable, but their prices are outrageous and I dont know if I want to spend five grand on another set of wheels and tires like i did last time. Plus nobody really has RS2's. Would you go with the RS2's in silver, chrome, or should I have the centers custom polished? I want something different. Remember the car is black so a polish or chrome wheel really looks amazing.

| I wouldn't even consider chrome, too damn heavy. If a highly-reflective finish is desired, and it does look great on black, I would suggest the polish or a custom, bright silver paint with a nice clearcoat...but even that isn't the same as the polished look. Here is my question - Can the centers be custom polished? I suspect yes, but I honestly don't know. It's worth a shot! |

| Chris, I asked the guy from Racing Dynamics about the custom polish centers, and he said it has to be custom done, but I bet it would look insane, and would be one of a kinda. Does anybody have photoshop? If you could photoshop a pic of RS2's, HRE 547's, and Iforged Aeros on a cosmos black M3 it would really be appreciated. I am changing the HRE's because they are the regular step lip wheels and they look too small, plus I just want to change the look even though I absolutely love the 540's and they were my dream rims.

| Wait a sec, I didn't pay much attention to the original post- I thought you were talking about some RDSport Forged wheels (don't like any of them). I LOVE RS2's, I thought they didn't have an E36 fitment? Well, get the RS2's- they look awesome in the pic you posted! Last edited by Suneal : 09-20-2003 at 11:21 AM. |
