| It's not the easiest way to do it, but I like it. http://www.rose-hulman.edu/~smithm3/...stop/index.htm |

| i made one myself for $.20, that seems worth it. i have a garage and just found a bolt in our bolt bucket that fit and only had to run to the store to find a washer and a nut.just be sure to calibrate it properly so that your reverse works, mine took a little fiddling with. it makes a huge difference in drag and on hills. i ground the head of with a rotary tool and stuck some metal on the back of pedal arm so the bolt did not get wedged in the crossmembers on the back of the plastic clutch arm.

| Be careful about using the stock rubber cap attached to an elevator bolt, as most DIY'ers have done. I tried this, and I found that the rubber cap is not big enough in diameter to always stop the clutch pedal. Because of the play, side to side, of the clutch pedal you can accidentally slip past the clutch stop. I ended up fabricating one with a 50 mm diameter surface. I think the stock rubber stop is around 35mm, and the one that UUC sells is 60mm. I found 50mm was quite enough. All in all I made it myself because I like doing that sort thing, and it helped having access to a machine shop. It is probably worth the $20 to just get one from UUC...
