| Did anyone else attend this event and enter the car show??? I did and I would not even call it a car show!! Very unorganized and the judges did not even make it to all cars that attended. Some of us traveled from Arizona and San Diego to get to the show and we felt like we were used for extra attractions while the drift event was in between heats. This should not have been billed as a driftevent /car show. What a waste of time!!!!!!!!! |

| I agree with you. The D1 car show was very unorganized. From the moment I arrived there I was treated very poorly. My team and I pre-registered for this show and weren't even put on their list. They asked several times for my picture ID. Then finally when I got in we were parked like we were parking our cars at a dealership. After putting up with some lowrider trucks hitting switches in front of the cars, we moved about 30 cars just to redo the lineup and make the presentation look better. Most of us never got judged after asking several times when we would be judged. No scoresheets nothing. Someone told one of my team members that there were "mystery judges". The real mystery is how can someone be given a fair chance when they can't even open their doors or hood or trunk for the judges to look at. The award ceremony was very poor as well. About 30-40 trophies and only about 10 were given out. I guess they will recycle the trophies for next show. When I asked why they didn't give the rest of the awards out I was told that they didn't have time. Very poor excuse. D1 drift was great, D1 show was horrible. I don't care about little trophies, but I feel it was a waste of my time to come out and support a event that had NO respect for their car show competitors. I missed the whole drift competition waiting for a judge to show up. As of right now I am still waiting for my full refund. |

| i also went to D1 and could tell that the car show was basically a side show for the drift event. i didnt even take any pictures of the show cars, what for? when i can take trackside video of cars being drifted by some of the best drifters in the world. the good thing bout having ur car on display is probably the vip parking, lol thats bout it. |

I understand the D1 concept but this time they tried to change things up I guess. I think everyone is frustrated that they claimed they were going to do something and then pretty much flaked out on it. I would have been happy to display my cars for sponsorship publicity etc and just watched the event instead of waiting around to for judges that came when it was almost dark. |
