| 1999 M3 vs. 1999 M3 Convertible Hi guys I was thinking about buying a 1999 m3 but I am not sure if I should get it convertible or the regular kind. Does anyone know if convertibles also come in manual or there all freaking automatic and my last question is are convertibles just as fast as the regular once? Thanks for the Help

| convertibles come in manual, and no they are slower than the coupes/sedans. edit: ps, i own a convertible. its a crapload of fun in the summer, but its definitely a performance no-no.

| Get a convertible, so much better  . Not all convertibles come in auto, i know a lot of people actually who have manuals and verts. And even though the verts probably have the same hp as coupes and stuff, they are about 500 lbs heavier cause of the roof and have more body flex and other stuff cause of the soft top. But definately a lot funner w/ the top off

| dont do a convertible man, coupes are so much more fun to drive. they do come in manual but there not as fast as coupes cause the convertibles are heavier. and it doesnt handle as good |

| My Current Car a 319 IS 1.8 cel i got a street racing ticket with that car loll raced a maxima not a good idea anyways feels like the engines going 2 blow so i gota get a new ride before it does i am still trying 2 pick which onces better cuz i am thinking theres a bigg speed diffrence in convertibles i just need 2 know how big the diffrence is thx for all the help

| i see a lot of manual convertibles. And i know a guy who has a 430 hp vert and he is going to make it 600hp, now dont say that thing aint got power, everything has potential  . And i know i can ride faster and out handle my friend's 318TI.

| I really don't care fo rthe convertible M3. If I where you I'd get the coupe. I personally driver a silver 1999 M3. I love the car, I wouldn't ever let it go. |
