Has anyone tried running the rear stock rim and tire on the front of their E36? 245/40/17

it will fit no problem. offset is the same, and it will reduce the hated understeer.

yeah its probaly not a good idea i dont think youll get better performance out of doing it..i dont see the point

You would be right if he is talking about putting the front 7.5 on the back and the 8.5 on the front.

I was refering to if he had 8.5 all around.

Yeah I was talking about 8.5 all the way around.
I don't track my car but I drive aggressivly every once in a while.
I like my stock rims and I really love that rear lip and wish I had it on the front.
I think it will look good when you see it roll up in the rear view.
