| will 18" look big enough on my E36? I'd like to buy a set of 18" Zinik Alloys Shogun wheels But I'm making a wide body kit for my E36 318I and I'm not sure of they will look big enough in the larger wheel arches. Problem is they don't exist in 19" and 20" would be overdoing it. |

| IMO 18 looks good enough, 19 is pushing it, and 20 is overdone. |

| 18's are what I have, but what I've noticed is that rims with a lip like that one, give it a smaller apperaence. Rims which are flat and go straight out to the edge end up being larger. Look at the MVR wheels. I loved it when I had them on my car. The pic that I have in my sig is my 18" HMII's. What type of suspension do you plan to put on your car?

| the front of the car is lowered 6cm (about 2.5 inches) and the rear 3cm but with the extra weight of the ICE install it's about 7cm (2.8 inches. Last edited by Tom3er : 09-03-2003 at 11:47 AM. |

| Well, he stated that he's gonna mod his car the way HE wants and I'm gonna respect that. The important thing is suspension. That will decide how the rim will look on his car.

| I obviously am not putting alloy wheels on the car for performance, this is a show car that doesn't do a lot of miles. The ICE install including the sound deadening weighs about 200 kilos so there go's the performance part http://www.sounddomain.com/member_pa...6&cat=25&val=1 I use the company car when going on longer trips. |

| The suspension is called D&G, it's a European brand. Not quite as expensive as Bilstein for example but it is considered as a good brand of suspensions. It concists of both springs and coils. |
