Just bought my BMW!!!!!

Hi everyone, its been a loooooong time since I last posted on here. Well, I finally stopped whoring off my sisters and dad's bimmers and got my own. Its a 1996 328is, it has a 6CD in the trunk, premium sound, sport rims and bucket seats, sunroof, and the rest u all know (manual, but of course). I plan on enjoying the car for a while in it's current state, but was also wondering what light mods to start off with.

For example, Im getting clear corners ASAP, but what else could I do? Also, what performance mods should I do first, so I know what to save up for? Thanks in advance for all your comments

I'd strongly consider an aftermarket exhaust and an intake. There are numerous threads on this in the E36 tech section. After that, I'd get a 3.15 or 3.23LSD from an M3, and the M50 intake manifold swap from eurospeed.

Congrats on your car! What color is it? And get your clears through Eurospeed also, they have good prices on 'em.

Good question. For one, this is my first car, I am 17 years old, and I feel that the 328 is more than sufficient power for me at the current point in time. Besides, an M3 would be more then too expensive, given the initial price of the car, then insurance on a teenage shit like me.

As for the color, it's black on black. We dished out $13,300 for the car and with tax it will be about $14,500.

As for the clears, isnt there a way I can order them from the dealer? I have heard one too many horror stories of clears not fitting properly, or water moisture getting stuck inside, etc.

BTW, there will be an immediate mod to the car, and that is tires. Could someone give me some good suggestions for an ALL-SEASON performance tire? I was looking at the Michelin Pilot Sports A/S, what do u guys think?

Awesome man. I too have a 1996 328. Only it's the sedan. (manual but of course) lol. There's a pic in my sig. Mine's lowered 1.4 inch with H&R performance springs, falkin tires, M3 spoiler, and custom wheels. Take a look-see.
