Torpedo Run - Cool Road Rally across Europe

There will be a cool road-rally coming up in May 2004. It's called the Torpedo Run ( www.torpedorun.com ) and is held between 7th May 2004 - 14th May 2004. Entries are now being accepted.

Torpedo Run is a Cannonballrun-style rally. You will drive more than 5,000 kilometres on an unknown course through Europe. On the German Autobahn you will be able to drive as fast as you want. You will also experience winding roads in the mountains and cruise along the Mediterranean Sea. Scenery and streets of Europe differ from country to country and are always breathtaking. New challenges and breathtaking events are going to await you at all times! Each night during the rally you will stay in the best hotels of Europe, where you can enjoy culinary pleasure. Each day you will experience the most eccentric parties – from the exclusive party at the sea to the hippest clubs.

Torpedo Run will start at a secret location on the 7th of May 2004 in Berlin, the pulsating capital of Germany. There you will receive your first clues which will lead you to the first checkpoint. Each team can choose by themselves the route to the destination.

The winner of the Torpedo Run will be found out among other things on race tracks. Furthermore we have special awards for the best supercar, the best looking car etc. We will also have an award for the most imaginative costume, and a few more categories which we will keep a secret.

Whoever has the staying power and determination for one exciting adventure, should enter the Torpedo Run! Entrepreneurs, car enthusiasts and other adventurers will compete against each other like in the legendary movie "The Cannonball Run". Hmm, it does sound like fun. Hey, I've got a Porsche too!!!, or atleast my dad does in Poland... Is ther an age limit or no? Or aslong as you have a license... Thanks.

Yeah, we have already run together two events. Sean also told me that you're going to participate in the Cannonballrun Europe.

Unfortunately we're going to launch a new payment-software in September. So I don't have the time for this Cannonballrun. Anyways, if you're in Germany before or after the Run, send me an email or give me a call. We could meet each other here.

By the way, Sean is interested in the Torpedo Run. Possibly the Torpedo Run will be the third rally we run together.

To participate in the Torpedo Run, you need to be at least 18 years old and own a drivers license, because in Europe you need to be 18 to drive a car.
