| Tried the X-Brace for E36? Did anyone install an X-brace under its E36? Its the part that was developped by BMW Motorsports to stiffen the chassis of the M3 lightweight and of the e36 convertibles. Its a bolt-on on all E36. It seems to do wonders in stiffening. Any feedback about that? The part # is 51 718 410 212. I called my dealer and they quoted me 286$CAN for the part. I found it for around 150$ at aftermarket suppliers. Can anyone get a better price? Thanks. |

| Its a great mod, i noticed it. You can get it for 120 from www.pacificbmw.com or www.circlebmw.com Also depending on if you car is a early 95 or older 3, you may have to install the nutserts.

| nut serts are inserts that you have to put in the holes under you car so that the bolts have something to be threaded into. Here's a link w/ the info you need: http://www.unofficialbmw.com/e36/sus...e_install.html
