| I'm sick of silver, and want to go for chrome wheels. New wheels will cost $1100 atleast in 17'... I just want to get my OZ's chromed. Where can I get it done? Any websites? I used to know of a place in Bath, pa..Wheel Collision inc, I think..but I lost their business card. That was a few years ago..are they still around? They charge $400 to chrome my wheels. I don't mind paying that...does anyone know about this place? Here's a current pic of my wheels: Jim Warren 88' 325i

| Yeah, Thanks guys...I'll think about it. U think my wheels look good in silver? I've had these wheels for 3.5 years now. After I have seen my brother's chrome Mkontours, I've wanted that shine. It draws much more attention than my car. Made me want chrome rims. Maybe I need some suggestions to decide if I should do it or not...or just get a new set of chrome wheels. here'swhat I'm talking about. | Thnaks, I think I'll keep the wheels silver..and spend my $ on tinting it. My car is in the paint shop right now getting repainted again (in the pics that 2 month old paint job was keyed to shit by some jealous bastards @ college. So this is the second paint jo this year. It was completely restored in december 2002. Still i won't paint the rockers body color. It looks bad like that I've seen it in person, and changed my mind about doing it ..I was extremely close to doing that..but It looked terrible, cos hte E-30 rockers are "inward looking" not like an E36 (which is supposed to be body color) If I do any more painting..It will be after I buy subtle looking side skirts and a rear apron. After my car when in for the second time this year..I added Real imported Gruppe A mirrors, MHW smoked tails, cirrus blue met. euro rear l/p custom filler, front bumper filler, new plastic trims/bumper surrounds all around, hella euro ellipsoids, tms smoked fron turns, smoked side makrers, a new front valence (old was slightly bent), and a 62k mile 1992 325ic engine that was already installed may 30, 2003. I'll post pics when I get it back -Jim

| Chrome on rims is weak....only good on those Hot Rods, SAV's or SUV's. Depending who chromes the rims, it may last long or peel. Once the chrome starts peeling, good bye to the entire finish. A better alternative is to polish them like the frames on bikes....they don't pit like chrome, easier to clean, wax and if there is a scratch, it can be repolished.
