m3 vs. s2000

So my girlfriend just got an '03 s2000 and she's says that her car runs 13.9-13.8 1/4 mile. Is this true?? And who would win quarter mile anyways, say a stock '96 m3 vs. a stock '03 s2000? i think it would be close...probably the s2k b/c its new..i dunno. what do u guys say?

those times come from computec with there supercharger package for the s2000 I believe

It depends on if she can drive as well as or better than you, but your M3 would kick her ass.

The S200 has 153 Ft-Lb Torque=crap. The same power on both cars though. The weight of the S2000 is 2810 Lbs. And you have 3175. The 365 Lb difference plays a role. But with your 236 Ft-Lb torque I think you would win. Just my opinion. Have fun.

a stock s2k can run a mid to high 13, IF you can launch it at about 5.5k or 6k rpms. Basically Gorilla Launch. But they only make power up top, try s2k.org

k well i looked up my old Sport Compact Car and the s2000 in "2F2F" with a paxton novi 100 system (close to comptech supercharger system) ran a 13.9. And R&D says an '03 s2000 stock runs 14.1. But it all boils down to: its a honda.

It's down to how good she can drive the S2K. Getting a "perfect" launch is critical to going fast off the line in that car, much more so than an E36 M3. The slightest mistake by her would cause her to lose, whereas you could slightly bog or something and still not lose near as much. The advantage of torque.

If your M3 is stock then on the twistys she'll own you though (assuming equal drivers), they are damn fast little cars. "Its only a honda"

I know you can make a crx run mid 13's with a SIR motor with a few mods done to it....

okay for one s2000 has some problems with it....paxton fixed some of when they send you the supercharger...the newest paxtons supercharger for the s2k runs 13.0 flat in on the lastest charts tho the vibrations from the engine broke the mounting blots on the s/c so they have rubber gromts on them now lol

anyway a stock s2000 would run high 13's and low 14's

M girl, i raced a S 2000 and pwned it, race her from a roll, about 15-20mph, you will have low end tough and instalty jump her big time, it will take her a couple rpms then hit V tec, if you do this you wil beat her no problem. or do a roll in first gear when she is at like 6K rpms, then yall hit it, this was you could see what the cars accualy do, you should still win.

so its up to you if you wanna pwne her or just see what he cars will do, and if you loose theres nothing wrong with a little catfight.
