Found an open stretch of road today.

I found an open stretch of road today and floored it for about 15 sec., got my X5 up to 130 MPH (No kid or wife in the car). to my suprise it felt completely stable,Even slowing the car down again felt fine.
They really make some amazing cars in barvarien!!!

Didn't you hear what happened to Juan Pablo Montoya in France on his X5. He got pulled over by a cop who clocked him at 125. He got his license suspended and had to ride a bicycle around. It was pretty funny.

when someone gets their license suspended its not funny at all.....mine still is, from speeding tickets.

Very nice dude. I'm sure you barvarien beauty felt silky smooth at that speed and had plenty of pull left. I want to try and take my Non-turbo Eagle talon up to it's top speed sometime soon. I have an intake and exhaust and my speedo goes upto 140 so I bet I could match your 130. Not that you care but I took it upto 120 and it was very smooth with power left. It also helps that I have Z rated Kumho Estas (sp) tires. My turbo Scirocco gets upto 120mph max fast but that it's top speed which isn't bad at all.

Bavaria is a state in Germany, have some respect or don't drive a BMW. Yea I had mine up to 140MPH on a 55MPH zone, with no cars, cops, late at night.

nice. I hit my goddam limiter this weekend, but cruised state road 231 north of Purdue University at 130. Wow what a rush. felt smooth.

How many tickets did you guys get before your licences were suspended? I'm at 4 tickets since november. The bad thing is that 3 of the 4 came in just the past 2 months.

Lightweights...

I had mine suspended for failing to appear to contest a speeding ticket. Took FIVE YEARS before I got another (83 in a 55 through Atlanta) - b/c I was under 21 for the first one, it never went on my record (but $500 to the lawyer)...

HOWEVER, it happened again the next week (yes I am a moron

) and it cost me $1000 and a year on probation.

I still drive like a bat out of Hades (when she's not in the car), just watch out for the fascists.
