1.8t or VR6? Why?

Would you with the VW GTi VR6 or 1.8t and why?

Well they are both great cars. I have driven them both. For mods i would pick the 1.8t but the vr6 is nice in that it is powerfull enough and good in the rain.

oo i kno! I read that.. I still can't deciede tho. IT is going to be my first car.. so.. would i be better off with the VR6 because I have heard that it has better traction in harder conditions.. I live in ohio.. : )

VR6. There's no replacement for displacement.

If you are planning in droping ALOT of money into it then do the VR6, there are NASTY turbo and supercharger kits for it that will make it unreal (around 400hp), but your looking at an investment of around $5000. If you only plan on doing mods on a smaller scale than do the 1.8t. With little bolt on stuff you will get a suprising amount of increase in performance that would be much faster than a stock VR6 but not anywhere close to a VR6 with a supercharger or turbo. What is the difference between the 2001 VR6 and the 2002/03 VR6.. I hear that there is a 20hp difference.. is this true?

then also get ten one with turbo, because it's easer to make some extra HP with boosting turbo presure
