he's probably referring to the fact that Chrysler and Mercedes make up Dialmer (sp?) Chrysler..... BUT.... i don't think there's too much influence from the Chrysler side of the company on most of the Benz models....especially the SL..... I know there was a chrysler model that they referred to as the first "joint product" of the two companies, but i forget the name.....

Pacifica or Crossfire??? Crossfire is basically an SLK with a different shell and a 6-speed manual I think.
