Just something I saw on the Speed Insider F1 forums.

Straight from team engineers published by F1 Racing:

BMW: 90 Degree V10 900bhp @ 19200rpm

Ferrari: 90 Degree V10 890bhp @ 18700rpm

Mercedes: 90 Degree V10 860bhp @18200rpm

Ford Cosworth (Jaguar): 90 Degree V10 860bhp @18200rpm (surprise!)

Toyota: 90 Degree V10 855bhp @18400rpm

Honda: 90 Degree V10 840bhp @18100rpm

Renault: 111 Degree V10 810bhp @18100rpm

Ford Cosworth (Jordan, Minardi): 72 Degree V10 810bhp @17800rpm

hmm, i'm surprised that renault has such a relatively low horsepower figure. they've been doing real good.

Then you remember its not all about the hp. The driver and other factors are very important.

That's the thing. The Renault horsepower HAS been down all year. The thing that makes them so good is their chasis and their traction/launch control.

If they had the horsepower that Ferrari/BMW have (Which they plan on having next season) they will be very hard to beat.
