Help me find this high rpm miss!!!!! What is causing it??

Lately my car will no longer pull all the way to redline without hesitating at 6200-6300rpm and up. It feels like it cuts the power in half when I get to those rpm's, what could be causing this??

Just changed mu plugs to the recommended ngk's and that didnt help. Also, my check engine light is on but when I did the OBDI self-check the only code that came up was for a speedometer sensor....maybe a speen sensor i cant remember, but it had nothing to do with the motor.

What should I do???

Car is Warmed UP all the way ? because i have same problem on my 1993 325is, and when I turn car on and car isnt warmed up, and i just take off, it struggles to hit 6000rpm .. but once i stop.. and rev. for a bit, until engine gets warmer, everything then is fine.. So make sure ur car is warmed up before taking off, and so on..

Hopefully hes not trying to hit over 6000rpm without properly warming up the engine.

sounds like a fuel cutoff. fuel pump or something?

yeh try and replace the fuel filter, see if it fixes it

ahh yes, they are correct try that out... dads nissan had same problem a few months back aswell,and it lead to fuel pump being bad.. so give that a try.
