abs plastic vs. fiberglass

i am looking for a new front bumper and i just wanted to know if any1 had experience with either, i know that the abs plastic would be stronger and better for me bcuz i live in chicago with all the snow so please if any1 has experience please share

Well, fiberglass is a bit heavier and does not flex. ABS plastic flexes and is lighter in most cases. You can fix fiber glass, but it is harder to fix the plastic.

what are oem bumpers and stuff made out of?

Not ABS... more of a polyurethane material. OEM bumers are very flopsy off the car. ABS doesnt flex like that.
