So I was just thinking about the days of old when I was in college. I used to watch all the videos in the video section over and over and over again. And no matter how bad my day was going I had a smile on my face. So now I don't have a BMW but still watch the old videos of Dado in his old yellow M, Zia's turbo M3 and all the other M's. And it puts a smile on my face.

So needless to say thank you Dado and all other who were involved and the ones and are presently involved in the videos.

CHEERS TO THAT!!. I remember when BMWMPOWER/ dtm had just come out - the videos were wild!!! I had just gotten myself a 3 series and was totally swept away in modding that sucker thanks to DTM. I think it was that U-turn video that started it all.....

Now that I am well out of college, I still get my fancy tickled watching DTM vids.

I remeber the first time I stumbled upon bmwpower, never stopped after that till I sold my car.

for every meet video that makes it on the site, there are several that are not on.... and for every successful meet there are those that are ruined by idiots who try to show off so they can be in a video.....

ture if it wasn't for dtmpower and teckademics i would of been driving a hactback civic and what made me buy a BMW the time i seen Dado's yellow M3 in person will never forget it that was the first time i seen a bmw stand out with the body kit wheel sweet paint job and just a week back i was at my first meet the mischief destroy party in DC that was hot

while we're all having our DTM sob stories I still cant watch the old movies anymore.

to the people who blew this place up causing fees to arrive

anyways dtm has always been a place to come and learn information on BMWs and more recently to get a good laugh

I vote that Dado make the U-Turn video, which I have not seen, avaliable for free for the cheap bastards like us to watch.

Zei.. one of the first turbo M3s. I remember those days.. my friends knew him, that's how I first discovered DTMPower (bmwmpower.net)

For me it was the Dado strobe video (him going down that two lane wooded road with the strobes going to the music.. those were the days.) Also the one at Tysons 2 (lower level parking garage.) It's weird going back there.. thinking that a few years ago Dado cruised around with a camera car behind him..through those same parking garages.

So tonight I was at taco bell.. went in to get something.. (pulled up next to some modded Civic hatchback w/ a type r engine.) I get out and say what's up.. (car modder love) and got me some food.. came back out and he's like "Hey, do you know dado." (I was pimpin with my dtmpower.net stickers.) We end up talking for a while. He's going to the same college as me.. (Mason for the local people.) This site really connects so many people together - it's amazing.

Lol.. this site is huuuuuge.. he knew his stuff too.. (about bimmers.)

The first vid I saw on DTM was also the U-Turn video (8 gigs on my HDD are taken up by DTM vids, I have every single one). I always was into BMWs, but never modifying them. I used know every single spec on every single current BMW (up until sometime in 2001), and then I got into modifications and the history of BMW (DTM helping me learn about the former). I first found DTM through the E38 Roadfly boards, and I lurked on it for a while (even in the BMW M Power days, I lurked a little). I started visiting somewhat often (maybe a once or twice a week) after the server crashed an the new DTM was launched. I finally registered in March of 2002, and well, I'm here now. DTM has taught me all that I know about modifying BMWs, I will never forget this site. I commend all the administrators and moderators for doing such a good job of keeping this site running smoothly. I hope DTM stays up for years to come

yea the video of dado with the strobes going to the music was very bad ass.
