What to look for when buying...

hey guys,

I am going to look at a '97 328is this weekend. I was just wondering what I should be looking for on this car. Anything specific w/ this year/model? It has 113k miles on it. Do you think that is too many?

Give me the VIN number, quickly before my damn CARFAX things runs out. If it is in good condition, 113K is bullshit to Bimmers. They are tanks as somebody said before.

hey thats is a long article in the european car magazine about what to look for when buying e36. Like 10 pages or so. the issue is the march 2003. Try and look for it. Tells u lots of stuff there

Do a pre-purchase inspection and compression check

make sure the rear end doesnt click over bumps(RSMs), see if the water pump has been replaced, and if the oils been changed regularly you should be good to go.
