Which ti to get???

Hi All,

Okay, I know I have been bugging the board with ti questions and have not actually gotten one yet. But this next deal (2 actually) will probably be it. But you all gotta help me decide.

1) 96 black/black 318ti Sport with 128000 miles, 3rd owner car, claims good maintainance (new alternator, starter, AC recharged), will not go lower than 7.8k on price... and I would have to somehow get the car back to North Carolina from California.

2) 96 red 318ti sport with 71000 miles, first owner, all factory maintainance. Car still far, in New York, but at least within bus/driving distance. The guy would not sell for lower than 9.5k.

Now, before you guys go and start saying both car are overpriced... please help me choose which one to get first. I am really wary about going all the out to California and getting a car with such high mileage... having to take time to travel, pay shipping and all. Keep in mind, however, I have a stiff budget cap of my current car + 5k... so I probably can not pay more than 8k in any case. Therefore, if I get the car in New York, I would seriously put myself at financial risk... assuming I can get a loan that high at all to began with. Both sellers got excellent manners, and very communicative... I just can't decide, one is out of range physically, the other out of range financially... what do I do?? So give me them opinions, thanks!

go for 2. lower mileage + closer. borrow/take a loan for a lil extra money perhaps.
