I have a 93 325is 5speed w/ a M3 engine & Iam looking to replace the differntial, someone told me that If I get a differntial from a automatic 325is & it would help out my 1/4 mile times gearing is higher I guess, Then he also told me I could get a M3 differntial but, I might have to change out the axels & maybe the drive line . Any adive would be kool

auto 325 is a 3.91, which is pretty damn high for a 5 speed, PM vanosninja he has it on his 325 5 speed. As far as putting an
m3 diff on, i have one on my 325, along with a full m3 transmission, all you need to do is change the adapters on the
diff from the m3 ones to the 325 ones u take off your 325 diff
