E46 330ci??

hey guys im new to the forum, right now im driving an acura integra, but i just graduated and luckily dont have any student loans to pay off so i can afford to finance a new car, im seriously considering a new 330ci, at first i didnt like the front of the 04's but they're growing on me, another thing im considering is an 01' s4, the bmw by far drives and looks better, but im concerned about the "modability"? its already common knowledge that an s4 is pretty fast with just a chip, but are there mods that you can do to a 330 that can make it about 300whp without cracking the block? thanks for any feedback, hope to be joining u guys soon

Active Autowerke's supercharged 330ci produces 277.5 whp, so 300 whp could probably be done with some extra work or by going with a turbo.

But modding probably won't be as cheap as what's available for the S4, since its already an FI motor.

dont expect to get much power out of the 330 without alot of moolah. Oh yea and dont get auto which is pretty much a given

look at 2001 e46 M3. They are about the same price as a new 330ci are now...arent they??
