miss fire in cylder 1,3

Hello my service engine light is on and the odb scanner said that it was a miss fire in cinder 1 and 3. The plugs look good is this a coil problem or what? The car runs fine most the time but barely runs when miss firing. I have Dinan chip and a k&n drop in. I have a 97 m3 52k any help would be nice

Sounds like your ignition coils are shot. Good time to upgrade!
