Lol, this is some funny shit. IMO they should seriously consider other car renderings/models by both professional and amateur designers. "Give the people what they want," so why see what the many BMW enthusiasts have to offer design-wise. What I would do is have 3 different designers design a new model and fabricate a protype, have a worldwide internet poll (on bmw.com) on which car is more asthetically pleasing and then produce it? Hell, why not just take all of Bangle's designes and have someone with skills like BEHMER redo/touch them up . Later.

But to be honest, a bunch of online petitions isn't going to get bangle out of his job. A bunch of nasty hate mail won't either... The thing that would get Bangle is if BMW's stop selling. If sales plumuted, his job security wouldn't look so good.... Anyway, /end rant

He's not going to go away...i'm just going to try and appreciate the new BMWs as best i can.

Hell, the new 6 series is pretty nice; different grills and a more flowing trunk and its a pretty slick ride (especially when the M6 monster shows up)

I like the Z4 a lot now, i think a few changes here and there would help out the design but, maybe those will be smoothed out in the following few years.

The 7 series is pretty phat IMO, i was never really offended by it like many have been.

The 5 series is the only Bangle design that i really just don't like, maybe its just the photos i've seen are from different angles or something, but it should look more like a sedan version of the 6 series IMO.

I'm really waiting to see what the 1 series will be like, i predict that it will sell quite well, and the M2 will probably be an awesome little car.

Anyway, i've accepted that Bangle's designs are gonna be the "future" of BMW...
