Could my Dinan M3 even come close to being Show????

Just wondering what is considered a "show" car, if i spend 6 hours cleaning it, and a few after market mods, could my Dinan M3 be show???

Your car, although fairly nice, isn't quite "show" material, or at least great "show" material.

As it seems, more of the "show" cars have external non-performance helping moidifcations such as body kits, rims, spoilers and several interior goodies. Also, get a slick in-car entertainment system.

Now, those mods are purely for show and don't have too much of a good use for a regular drivers car. I suggest you work on engine mods and such and try to keep the car clean. Also, new rims couldn't hurt. Maybe build a nice track car, almost what like Dado's car was. It was good for driving and for shows, without all that extra crap.

yeah, why not, if you are proud of it, show it. It might not look like "import" material, but there's plenty of shows out there. I am showing mine at bimmerfest east, and it looks like it is fresh off the boat.

I think a Show isnt what its cracked up to be. When I think of a "SHOW show" I think of HIN or something, in which case those cars are in a league of their own(modifcation-wise, subject to criticism) Those shows arent really worth entering in because your car wont get much attention and you have to babysit it the whole time. Now meets and parking lot shows, such as local friday night things etc, are worth it because they are much more relaxed and youd tend to fit in better if you ask me.
