Exclamation BMW CCA Oktoberfest 2004 - July 4-9 in Pasadena, Ca.

Hi All -

BMW CCA's largest annual event, Oktoberfest is returning to SoCal for 2004. The event will be held Sun. - Fri. July 4-9 in Pasadena (with the track events at California Speedway in Fontana).

People interested in more information on the event and about possibly being a volunteer to help put on the event, check out the LA BMW CCA web site home page for links to the calendar, contacts and forms:

Last year O'fest was in colorado, this year texas, next year CA????

I don't know all the recent locations, but I think '98 was in Florida and Indiana hosted one after that.

I know, I know.....

I just think that they should move it back and forth, instead of keeping the event in the same region for 3 yrs in a row.

I heard the committee talking about having it in Alaska next year.

I think after LA, they'll definitely bring it back to the East Coast.

there was also a 0-Fest at the Spartanburg, SC plant a while back also...but yeah it's time to bring it back to the east.

Actually, there is a Z car homecoming every year in SC around Labor Day, but it's a Z car event - don't know if they'll have them for the X cars.

For Oktoberfest in SoCal, I'm sure there will be caravans from all over the country, especially since it will follow the 4th of July weekend.

I think Indiana was a couple of years ago. I have not heard any rumors on where 2005 will be.

Evening Hors d'oeuvres Reception

Tuesday - Track events at California Speedway
Driving school, Car Control Clinic, AutoX, Slalom, Drifting clinic

Car Wash, Vendor Hall and Tech Sessions ongoing in Pasadena
Evening Dessert reception at the Vendor Hall

Wednesday - Con't. of track events at Ca. Speedway
Driving school, Car Control Clinic, AutoX, Slalom, Drifting clinic

Car Wash, Vendor Hall and Tech Sessions ongoing in Pasadena
Evening - Motorsport banquet at Petersen Museum

Thursday - Pasadena and surrounding areas

i've just got word that o-fest '05 will be in rocky mount, NC...not sure if there's any truth to that though.

I'm not sure about the city, but yes, O'fest 2005 will be hosted by the Tar Heel Chapter.
