| if you are in the bay area, check out www.bayarearidersforum.com and yes a liter bike will KILL you, so hop on a 250 ninja or something first |

| sportbikes.net just don't go in there asking if that 1000 is to big for a beginner, you'll get slammed. Definately go with a kawi 250 for a first bike. Thats what I learned on instead of jumpin right into a 600.

| check out www.sportbikes.net also www. sportbikes.ws depending on what brand of bike you get you can easily google search. www.gixxers.com is the first one that comes to mind. It's too bad you're so far away I'm selling my 87 ex500 for 1k with 13k miles, in excellent mechanical condition. This was my beginner bike and it served me well for exactly 4 years now. Depending on your weight you should definitely start small, a 250, 500, or older 600 if you are on the heavier side (+200lbs no gear). Check out the sites, sportbikes.net has a newbie forum with a lot of good answers to questions you might have. Ride safe and have fun, riding is one of the best things in life! ![]() |
