| That they belong on M3s ![]() I dunno, I just think they belong exclusively to M3's. Same as wheels, badges and bodykits. And I know what you are about to say - I have M3 wheels on my car. But they came with the car, and I will be getting rid of them when I get more funds. I really do hate driving around with M3 wheels on a 320i. This is my personal opinion, of course. M3 vaders do look hot, and if someone wants to put them in another car, by all means I will respect their decision. It's just not one I would be willing to make for myself. | The good old, "Model Envy" debate. Though you are certainly entitled to your opinion, I happened to totally disagree. An e36 M3 as amazing and wonderfull as it is, it is still a 3-series BMW, an upgraded 325 - unlike the e46 M3 which is different from ground up, then its 325/330 cousins, the E36 M3 is a bored out version of a 325, upgraded suspension, beefed up brakes, and several cosmetic changes are what separates the two. There is no model envy involved with upgrading your car to incorporate items that make the car look and perform better. In the case of the Vader’s, well, they do look and perform better then the stock non-M3 e36 seats. Are they the best - no, but they are one of the nicest looking seats that are specifically designed for a 3 series BMW, they do perform better then most reclineable aftermarket racing seats, and you can buy them for much cheaper then a comparable aftermarket seat. I would completely agree with your point if a person was going to put a set of Vaders on a Honda Civic, but putting it on a 328 or an M3 Convertible – which never came with Vaders, is just fine. Now if you throw an M3 sticker on your 325 because you put Vaders in it, or for any other reason for that matter, then that’s just wrong on so many different levels. ; ) That’s just my opinion! JS

| Thanks a lot! It's actualy in the shop right now, I T-Boned some lady who made an illegal left turn right in front of me last week. Sucks, but it's gonna look even better when it gets out of the shop. Again, thanks a lot for the compliment! JS
