i was wondering if anyone had any advice on sponsors. im sorta new to the whole car scene (im only 19) so far i've customized a lincoln navigator and now im working on a 2003 E46. Ive got a pic of it in my photo gallery. Since that pic i've gotten TONS custom paint work done under the hood, in the trunkand the exterior, a Hamann body kit, 19 inch wheels, Eibach race springs, shadow grill, HID kit, instead of getting clear blinkers on the side of my car like everyone else mine are painted the same color as the body(topaz blue), ACS roundels, red brake calipers, my spare tires is a custom wheel (not the lame BMW 16" wheel), a custom trunk is in the works with suede/leather/paint and the custom spare as the focal point of the trunk and more mods to come! i wanna start doing some carbon fiber parts and engine components so if anyone wants to advertise their products on my car let me know! i have a model lined up to do a photo shoot in a couple weeks & i'll post pics after that. if any websites would like to send stickers/decals i'll consider adding them to the car. (i'd like to pick a specific color for all decals so the design stays uniform) if anyone has any tips on attracting sponsors feel free to leave a reply! pics will be up next weekend approx. depending on whether or not my comp is acting up or not!

BTW- i might start working at a BMW dealership soon so a custom BMW with your name on it could be parked in front of a BMW dealership for everyone to see...

what kind of show experience do you have? what shows do you plan on attending, what have you won so far?

be prepared to answer many questions like that if you are applying for sponsorship @ most any company. Companies are looking for lots of positive exposure.

Yes I agree wit moteursport.. they will ask lots of questions on your show backgrounds and so on.. but by the look of the car as of rite now, in ur gallery, looks like a good car for sponsoring.. gotta upload some updated pics of this car.. well where do u live ? look for some companies that you like, around your area, and bring your car to them, and they will let you know about sponsoring.. I live in Orange, in CA.. the APEX-i HQ is here, about 2 miles away from my house.. my cousin brought his 95' 240se to them, and is now sponsored by them.. jsut because they like what he has done to his car so far.. w/the s15 conversion kit, and so on.. hehe, so soon he will be running a APEX-i turbo under his hood.. so I suggest just looking for companies around ur area, and bring ur car to them.. and they will tell you, upfront usually if they would sponsor you, or not..
