| Get new RSM's from either the dealer or bimmerparts.com is my advice. I had to buy new ones a few weeks ago when I dropped my car also, and I picked up E46 M3 convertible RSM's for 18$ each. I heard a high pitched rubbing noise from my drivers rear corner on turns after the drop, turned out to be the tire rubbing on the inner fender lip. A little rolling on the rear fenders fixed it up good though.

| I had a clunking noise after I replaced my rear shocks and springs too. The bolt that holds the lower part of the shock was just a little too long to hold it tightly. The hole the bolt screws into is blind so it was difficult to tell if the bolt had gone in all the way and was holding the shock tightly, or if the bolt had hit the bottom of the hole. I fixed it with a lock washer.
