BMW 325i convertible problem

Hey, i just recently noticed that the window on the driver side isnt working the same as the left side. For those who dont know how the windows work on a bimmer convertible, it is basically when you open/close the door the window moves down/up accordingly because the design on a convertible is different when the door is closed. The problem is, the passenger side works, but the driver side doesnt, i dont know what seems to be wrong, so if any of you can enlighten me or give possible reasons for it i would be very greatful. its prolly a power window motor, since it sounds like auto dip isnt working. time for a new motor, break out the wallet.
