Pictures from the Canadian GP

I had a blast at the Canadian GP. Got passes for the Paddock club and was a guest in the McLaren Mercedes VIP club. I really got a glimse of how much money is involoved in Formula 1. Food and drinks were top notch and it was all free. Also got to walk through pit lane. Anyone else here go?

How did you manage to get the passes? Everytime I go, we have to rough it out on the infields and eat cold hamburgers and drink warm sodas. Then we look over, and see the people in the Mercedes or BMW club or whatever just sipping on their wine and watching the race from their A/C'd tents.. Blah

Anyway, great pictures. What camera did you use and did you use a tripod?

We went with one of my moms clients. Hes a contractor and buys tons of supplies from Siemens, who is a big sponsor of F1, namely Mclaren Mercedes. He got us in. We were waited on hand and foot and the food was incredible. The VIP clubs were located right above all the garages overlooking pit lane. Its really cool to get up close to the garages, you can really soak in all the details of the F1 cars.

I used a Fuji 3800 and no tripod. Its a great camera! I'm still improving my photography skills and the pictures are coming out better and better.
