35,000 to spend on a car in Orange County-- advice wanted

Well, its time to buy a new car. I have a $35,000 limit and if I buy the car used it can't have more than 30,000 miles(parent's orders). Here are the cars I'm choosing from.

1.) Audi S4
2.) 330ci
3.) 325/323ci

I'm trying to find one that is used, with low miles, and preferably already a tad bit fixed up. If anyone knows anyone selling one of these cars or might be interested in selling their's ask them and get back to me. So far the impressions I've had haven't been so great.

If anyone has an advice on a car that they think I should look into let me know. Thanks for your help.

WRX STi without thought or hesitation.

But of those choices, S4.

I actually talked to my parents just now to see if I could throw in a couple grand of my own and get a used 01/02 production M3 and they seem receptive to the idea. We'll see how long that lasts for though...and thanks for the advice on the STi, but the subaru dealerships I checked out today had them at 39k, 8k markup and the evo VIII's are going with a 7k markup.

Get an STi or an Evo 8. They both look great in person. Personally I'd go for the Evo 8. Drive both and see which you like better.

(Wondering why my previous post that was identical to this was deleted...)

Mitsu... bleh....

Subaru... hrmm yeah the STi is cool, but M3 is way cooler

Nothing beats BMW quality, mind you I would love to take a wrx off road and beat the living shit out of it for a day.

i agree with the majority of the guys on this board. Consider getting an Evo or the STI. i personally would prefer the STI. Mitsubishi's... eh... mustbeshit.

Cliffnotes: STI

we took an evo 8 over an sti... mostly because it came out first, but now that both are out we are happy with our decision anyways. the evo is better in corners and braking, and handles better... since we use it for track days, thats fine in our book.

besides ours is making about 400 crank now anyways :P

s4 sucks it blows up left and right, understeers and generally handles like a pig... only redeming quality is that it is big inside, plush, and very nicely built inside, and they do look good.

i could never drive one tho the understeer is unbearable...

get a 1993 RS America :P

i love watching those on the track... they look like beached whales little puny tires squeeling in protest as 3600lbs of luxury junk tries to slide off the track. 30 degrees of body roll and smoking brakes...

ahh yes the revenge of phsyics... all those heated seats and ass massagers come with a price...
