Canadian Grand Prix

Congratulations to Michael and Ralf Schumacher and JP Montoya on a great race and an even better podium finish! Great to see BMW/Williams bringing home some glory.

Took them a while to get some good work into the chassis, but it's finally paying off. Looks like this race was won by Ferrari because of a little better strategy on fuel (and some traffic for Ralph while Michael was pitting). But all in all...GREAT!!!

I hope the last two weeks are the look of things to come for Williams.BMW for the rest of the season.

Awesome race, but as Ian mentioned, who knows if Michael was even pushing it all the way. He said in the press conference that he was unable to push the brakes as much as he wanted too.

Either way, incredible race.. the last few laps with Schuey, Ralf, JPM, and Alonso seperated by less than 4 seconds was wild. I didn't think Ralf would be able to get around Michael, but i was impressed with his pace..

Great show, and that marks two very sucessful consecutive weekends for Williams/BMW.

Nice to see BMW on the podium again! Though I don't like Montoya spinning around like that.

I can't believe he made up around 18 seconds from the 2nd pit till the end of the race!

Seems like no one really cares about F1 on DTM.. so little response to such an incredible showing.

Anyway, yeah here are some shots.. F1-live.net is my exclusive F1 data provider (and home page!)..

And they're off! BMW 1-2 into turn 1!

Ralf fending off Schuey after Montoya spins..

After the pit-stop Ralf hands lead to Schuey.. and follows him all the way to the checkered flag.

Coming across the line.. Schuey, Ralf, JPM, Alonso.. all less than 4 seconds apart!

Schuey wins!

Schuey 10 points, Ralf 8 points, JPM 6 points.. Schuey moves into 1st place in standings.

Ralf and JPM.. parkin' their F22's, i mean F1 cars post-race.

And if you need a new wallpaper.. JPM on fire! Just like his brakes.. which seemed to ail him all race.

JPM in wet qualifying..

Enjoy..

Trust me, we care.

I just didn't want to click on it until I caught the replay.

And BMW.Williams haven't been running the FW22's for about a year now.

Those are the FW25's, Alex. 0-2 tonight.

No you misunderstood!!!

By F22's i meant like F22 Raptor stealth fighter jets, damnit i didn't even think about the chassis designation!

Besides, its FW25 (or FW22) not F25.. hahaha, but you're right - that is an FW25, powered by a P83

Every week it seems like the same 7-8 people responding. With so many members it's hard to concieve that so few watch.

I always follow the F1 races, but in this new home here, we do not have the Speed channel, so I can't watch it and red neck racing gets me mad. Thank you guys for posting results and comments on the races.

I enjoyed the end of the race even though it wasn’t on the edge of your seat excitement. Top fours finishing so closely was really cool. Kinda sucks with the traction control these days. Possibly would have seen some pressured mistakes at the end with out it. Also, its hard to say if JPM didnt spin with the results would have been but he did an outstanding job getting back in the pace.
