That e21 I was writing about with 9,88 sec on the 1/4 mile, was also using a s14 motor with turbo.

But we must not forget the M20 and 30 motors , they can also be very powerful.

This very nice e21 was at the beginning a 323i. Now it is a 323 2,7 turbo. The owner is part of another swedish BMW-team called "Snålblå racing". I am not sure if its street-legal, but a nice bimmer anyway.
