| H1 bulb wattage can i put 100 watt h1 bulbs in my o.e. euro headlights for the high beams without having to change fuses or anything? it won't melt anything will it? nate

| The H1 are 100 watts and not to mention that it won't fit your application since the base of the H1 bulb has a different fitment pattern on the base. The H3 have a half circle on one side and a notch on the other. The H1 are differnt....put them next to each other and compare the bases. It they do fit, do change the fuse, but it may cause the wire to fry since it is 2x more watts.
