| Holy Sh8t ![]() Tnx for posting that here, really helpfull story for prospective car buyers! And its not only 1 car like that, there are tons of them. And if the car had a good repair and the guy didnt notice anything, he'd be fvck up somwhere on his drive back home when cops would think he stole the car or something. |

| Dude Alan that is crazy! Want to know why!? I told you my mom had an E30 M3. It was Brilliant Red, '89 and was "wrecked." She was hit on the front right fender by a motorcycle driver in NJ but at the time lived in PA. I saw a reference to "wrecked in PA." That's nuts... This was years ago, but still, small world. Who knows the truth at this point. It's great that this guy shared this story. He could have jsut said "i was ripped off" and explained... but now we all know what kind of sneaky $hit sellers will come up with. To think, the car was never in his name to begin with. That's amazing stuff. Heh you and I are considering E30 M3s alan... gotta watch out Thanks bud.

| This guy is looking for a cheap E30 M3- he finds one in FL He takes a plane down to FL to pick it up- he talks with the seller who hardly ever allows him to check out the car. The seller finally sells him the car- and as soon as he fills up a tank of gas he finds out all the problems with the car. The car gives him more trouble- and eventually he finds out that its really a 1991- that had been chopped up and had been stolen from RI! All in Al this guy went through a whole bunch of shit, i really feel sorry for him, b/c i went through something similar when I purchased my E36.

![]() He was kinda buying the name of the car and past achievements of the legendary BMW M3, and not particular one. He was also thinking that he was getting a good deal, so he wanted to be done with it until the owner changed his mind or something, u know. Too excited. I know it by myself, everytime I looked or test drove a car for sale, I was so excited that I wanted to buy it right away, but never did, just walked home and slept. Then the following day I would think about the car, consider pros and cons and the realize that the car is not for me or not worth it, but that guy didnt have much time. He was alone, nobody was there to give him and advice. He set his mind that he was gonna cruise home across the whole country in an M3. |

| I feel really bad but the kid knew the car wasn't as advertised and as he stated. He was a fool to buy it. Shame on him. If it walks like a duck, sounds like a duck, and looks like a duck, "it probably is a duck" I hope that kid get's his $$ back ![]() |
